"Vineyard planted in 2013. It’s named for Michael Dhillon’s Dad.
Plenty of spice, quite sappy and mulchy, poached strawberry and rhubarb, a little mint/aniseed. Medium-bodied, sappy with a tomato and amaro edge, red fruits, but leaning toward more autumnal and savoury flavours, firm powdery tannin grip, juicy blood orange and strawberry on the finish, with pleasing sort of graphite tannin grip to close. It’s not a wine I love, as in, I’d rather a bit more fruit purity, though I do appreciate its personality and style."
